The 1.5-ton/hour fully automated quick-frozen French fries production line, constructed by Henan Baixin Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., has recently completed full installation and commissioning in Iraq and officially entered the trial production stage. I. Project Overview
Based on the Iraqi customer's large-scale production needs, actual factory conditions, and local energy supply characteristics, Baixin Machinery conducted a comprehensive localized design for the equipment configuration, process flow, and site layout of the 1.5t/h fully automatic quick-frozen French fries production line. II.Production Line Configuration and Core Equipment Introduction
This 1.5 t/h fully automatic quick-frozen French fries production line covers all key processes from raw material processing to finished product packaging, realizing continuous, automated and standardized production, and meeting the needs of large food processing enterprises for high quality and high capacity.
The entire production line is scientifically and rationally laid out, with seamless process integration, ensuring not only stable and efficient operation but also ease of maintenance and capacity expansion. The following is a detailed introduction to the project.
Phase One: Raw material selection , Washing and Peeling
Screening: Potatoes undergo rigorous washing to remove dirt and impurities. They are then fed into sorting equipment to remove any substandard potatoes (too small, green, or bruised), ensuring that only the highest quality potatoes enter the production line.
Peeling: This process is carried out using a spiral peeling and washing machine. The equipment uses the coordinated rotation of a spiral and a brush to efficiently remove the outer skin while simultaneously cleaning it with water flow, ensuring the cleanliness of the raw materials.

Phase Two: Efficient Cutting
After peeling, the potatoes are fed into a high-precision slicing machine, which can process them into various sizes such as 6×6mm, 8×8mm, 9×9mm, and 10×10mm according to customer needs. The cuts are uniform and the sizes are consistent, providing a stable foundation for subsequent heat treatment.
Freshly cut French fries immediately pass through a bubble washing machine. The tumbling of bubbles and the circulation of water in the washing tank thoroughly agitate the fries, deeply removing impurities and starch, thus preventing them from sticking together during subsequent processing.

Phase Three: Blanching and Water-cooling
slicing, the product enters a blanching machine and is blanched in hot water at 60–95℃. This process effectively deactivates enzyme activity, preventing the fries from discoloring later, and optimizes the internal structure, laying the foundation for a crispy texture.
After blanching, the fries are cooled in a water chiller to further stabilize their internal structure. They are then dried in an air dryer to remove surface moisture, creating ideal conditions for the frying process.

Phase Four: Continuous Deep-Frying and De-oiling
During the frying process, the fries are placed in a continuous fryer and quickly fried in edible oil at 160–180℃ for 30–40 seconds to form a uniform golden-yellow outer layer, achieving the ideal texture of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
After frying, the surface grease is quickly removed by a vibrating oil drainer, effectively reducing the oil content of the product. A secondary air-drying system then further removes residual oil, improving product quality and health benefits.

Phase Five : Quick-freezing and Automatic Packing
After being degreased, the fries enter the IQF fluidized bed freezer. The equipment uses high-speed cold air to keep the fries in a fluidized suspension state, allowing them to fully contact the cold air and achieve rapid individual freezing. This ensures that the products are dispersed and do not stick together, quickly lowering the core temperature to below -18°C and locking in the freshness and texture.
Finally, the products enter the automatic weighing and packaging machine, where they are accurately packaged according to the preset weight and automatically sealed, ensuring uniform packaging specifications and stable efficiency.

III.Installation Site
Preliminary Planning: Prior to installation , Baixin Machinery's professional team conducted multiple detailed communications with the Iraqi client, confirming and verifying the preparation status of relevant issues such as the factory's water and electricity supply, ground leveling standards, and the installation tools required for on-site construction . By proactively identifying and resolving various potential construction problems, a solid foundation was laid for the efficient and orderly progress of subsequent on-site installation work .
On-site installation: We dispatch a team of senior engineers to be stationed on-site throughout the entire process, strictly adhering to installation standards, and systematically advancing equipment placement, electrical system connection, and pipeline laying to ensure the stability and safety of equipment operation.
Trial production acceptance: After 15 days of system installation, precise debugging, and process parameter optimization, the entire production line has successfully achieved its designed capacity target and is operating stably and reliably.
